Welcome!
While many of you are already familiar with our PTA and all of the wonderful things we do, some of you are new to our school and we would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about ourselves.
What we do at PTA?
Our organization is very active and sponsors many activities around the school such as Book Fairs, AR Parties, Field Trips, Fall Festivals, and Bingo Night . We also sponsor a number of fundraisers throughout the year to purchase additional equipment and supplies for the school.
We hope that you will consider joining us this year. Even if you do not wish to join PTA, we hope that you will still sign up to volunteer for some of our activities. We want to involve you in your children's education.
Research shows students do better when their families are involved at home and the school. Grades are higher, test scores rise, self esteem grows, and schools improve. Our goal is not to simply fundraiser, but to support Emerson Elementary and out teachers by providing our students with the best learning environment possible. And we couldn't do it without YOU!
So we invite every parent, teacher and neighbor to join the PTA, as we work to make Emerson the best it can for our students...our most precious resource. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at:
